There’s a new site run by a team of two foreigners on Japan photography at Japan Exposures. They seek to introduce Japanese photographers who are relatively unknown outside of the country. Japan’s photographic scene is rather insular despite the volume of publications there every year. This is definitely a welcome entry to the scene of blogging!
There is an interesting article on the development of photography in Japan over at Lens Culture. A good primer on how things have developed over the years and also to discover more names. Oh how I wish I could live in Japan for an extended period of time. I love sushi and soba.
