I love my Macs. Mr. Steve Jobs would be releasing some new products next week at MacWorld and everyone seems to be a pundit, trying to predict what revolutionary products will be released. Apple stocks (AAPL) typically rises before the release of the news and if the products fall below expectations, we would expect to see a tumbling of the stock. (lol, I’m a finance student after all.)
Anyway, I’ve been holding out on a purchase of a laptop since last year, after the unfortunate loss of my PowerBook (long story there…). So I’m waiting in anticipation of what will be released next week, although I’m just hoping for some minor upgrades to their MacBooks. I think that a smallish laptop like the Asus EEE PC would be cool though, just not something I can carry around on shoots or Photoshopping on the road.
Yesterday, NewsGator released NetNewsWire 3.1 and made it free for use. If you’re an RSS addict like me, you’d find it to be excellent RSS reader and best of all, it’s free to use now! Sign up for an account with them and you can access your feeds anywhere in the world. It sure helps to will away the hours during a boring lecture. =)
I apologize for the weird looking formatting on several posts and I’m trying to fix them. It seems like Wordpress and Safari don’t really like each other. Wordpress’s visual editor changes the format of the pages every time I edit/save a page from the code editor. It is really frustrating as I have to add in the line breaks all over again. I hope they fix this problem soon enough.Alright, that’s enough indulging in my geekiness, I will just wait for the goods news. My schedule looks really tight next week, with 3 shoots lined up and the completion of an art installation for school. But the highlight would most likely be the purchase of a new laptop!
Edit: Just realized the formatting got screwed up again for this post! I really apologize for it!

Wah NetNewsWire has a podcast feature. Being a windows-user, I’m currently enamored with Google Reader.
