Obama is still speaking while I’m typing this. I’m awed at how technology has enabled us to view this historic moment halfway around the world. I’m watching the live feed off CNN and so are my friends on Facebook. I’m terribly excited!

Last Day of 2008
#1, from (“Paperscapes“) © Ch’ng Yaohong, 2008 I’m finally settling into the new place, our furniture will be arriving in the next few days. I apologize for the lack of updates around here. It has been two weeks of misery and it won’t be over till sometime next week. 2008 was a year where I [...]
Interview
Fabiano of Camera Obscura recently did an interview with me. Read my thoughts over at his blog. It also gave me an insight on how I can conduct my own interviews in the future. 2009 will see more changes taking place here. I am in the process of moving to a new place and will [...]

However, I am very happy that I’ve got such a good response for the project. It’s heartening to know that people are actually willing to sit for the portraits [...]
Photography Collectives
Jörg (of venerable fame) posted a post today on photography collectives in Europe (Piece of Cake) and the US (Exposure Project). That got me thinking about starting a collective. Of course, with all these commitments that I already have, am I just going to plunge into yet another project? And that crazy voice at the [...]
Japan Exposures
There’s a new site run by a team of two foreigners on Japan photography at Japan Exposures. They seek to introduce Japanese photographers who are relatively unknown outside of the country. Japan’s photographic scene is rather insular despite the volume of publications there every year. This is definitely a welcome entry to the scene of [...]
