Filipino Estan Cabigas wears many hats – photographer, traveler, writer, entomologist and historian. He’s nice guy too!

TOP TO BOTTOM, from (“Desaparecido“)

In this series, Estan explored the complex mix of emotions and memories of a family with a missing husband/father. He was forcibly taken away in 2007 due to political reasons. However, his presence still lingers in the house; old faded photographs and handwritten notes. Without someone to support them, the family tries to make ends meet and live a normal life. Yet, there is an overpowering sense of sadness pervading through the images.
Visit his portfolio to see more of his other works. May I interest you to explore his extensive image collections of beetles or Philippines’ architectural history?

Yaohong!!!
Thanx for the feature. I thought you were joking when you said in the comments :)
Btw, please do correct the year, he was abducted 2007. I also redesigned my website and is just ironing some kinks. A blog will be forthcoming :)
=) good luck with the redesign. i will be working on one soon once i get my personal work sorted out in the coming months.
I was curious if you ever considered changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?
Please, are you able to Pm me and tell me few a lot more thinks about this, I am really fan of your weblog… 34
