pdfX12 or the Reminders Project was launched last year in January.
It is a free monthly photo journal that “presents and features a series of photos by various photojournalists living and working in various communities around the world”. Volume 12, launched in December, features images of Bangladesh after being hit by Cyclone Sidr, images by Munem Wasif. To view the issue, you must sign up for a free subscription by dropping them a mail.
The pdfs are well-designed, with jaw-dropping photography. An interesting project to keep an eye on for 2008, and best of all, it’s free. I hope to see more works being featured here, online magazines are definitely positioned to bring photojournalism to a higher level.
