Dance Me Through The Dark is the culmination of 8 years of work by Singaporean photographer, Tan Ngiap Heng.

From his blog:

It is a labour of love and the people that have been the most enthusiastic about it have been the dancers that worked with me on the project. It is the most ambitious exhibition that I have mounted as this is more an installation than just prints on a wall. It will be the first time I am publishing a book too.

Exhibition details:
The Arts House Gallery
Singapore
13-28 February 2008
10am-8.30pm daily (Book launch on the 13th)

This is really wonderful news coming from Ngiap Heng, a portrait photographer. His dance images are really something to behold. Check out his website or flickr to see more of his works. As a mentor, he has enlightened me on many aspects of photography, beyond lights and the technical stuff. 2007 was a very good year for him, as he won several awards and gain critical international recognition. I hope that he continues achieving new heights this year!
