Izima Kaoru

Izima Kaoru’s shoots in a morbid fashion. His scenes of violence and horror are incredibly detailed. And in each, a famous actress or model, dressed in expensive designer wear, is found dead and lifeless.

Could death be any more beautiful?

I feel conflicted looking at the images. On one hand, I can’t tear myself from admiring the pretty clothes and faces. On the other, I found it to be overhanded and gimmicky. Yet, the whole idea is intriguing on its own. I can’t help but wonder how each one of them met their “end”.

For dead girls they sure do look pretty… Sorry I don’t really see violence in these photos just beautiful models playing dead or asleep with their eyes open.
Start getting a bit more edgy Izima maybe get friendly with your local mortician and really try to shock if that is your aim.

This guy wishes he’s as talented as Araki…

I don’t see him trying to imitate Nobuyoshi Araki in any way… I too think that Araki is more of an artist, but I wouldn’t say that he was more talented. It’s all about what you make of your talent.
And no – Izima does not try to shock…he just wants to capture beauty in death.
