Flanegan Bainon

Anima, according to Jungian psychology, refers to the inner self that is in touch with the unconscious. Flanegan Bainon from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia had been working earnestly on his portraiture series, Anima, since last year.

Somehow, I particularly like the subjects’ awkwardness. It’s a work in progress and there is promise. Visit his blog to see more of the series.

His lighting is dead-on but I find his choice of subjects lacking character.
