Vietnamese-American Binh Danh’s chlorophyll prints are as amazing as they are poignant. Using found photographs from the Vietnam War era, he imprints the images on the leaves through photosynthesis; creating a powerful link between the present and the past, alluding to the jungles that the war was fought in.

Nice. In fact, it is simply amazing to witness the metamorphosis of Vietnamese fine arts over the last 3 decades. Vietnamese fine arts have truly come of age and the artists are doing a great job. The galleries at Vietnamartist.com continue to amaze with their diversity and boldness. It’s a feast for every eye!
