Chua Chye Teck

Chua Chye Teck earns a living as a props-maker for advertising photography. Incidentally, he makes wonderful photography as an artist/photographer. His work revolves around common everyday objects found in living spaces. Chye Teck “has been exploring the theme of housing and inhabitation over the past ten years. His previous works have included both sculptures and images referencing physical dwelling space in Singapore, the evolution of urbanism and its impact on the residents”.

Visit his website to see more of his works. I totally dig his stuff.

Chye Teck is currently having an exhibition, Eternity, at Showroom, Post-Museum, 107 and 109 Rowell Road, till 13th January.

(April 10, 2009) Update: Seems like his website has been taken down till further notice.
