Jeong-Mee Yoon

The Pink and Blue Project by Korean photographer, Jeong-Mee Yoon, shows boys and girls with a collection of their personal items. The color pink represents femininity whilst blue represents masculinity, and we see the children surrounded by items that typify their gender.

How will these children learn to appreciate possessions with such over-consumption? This will create a generation beyond the greed and entitlement that generation ‘Yuppies’ have portrayed for so long.
The colors have little to do with it anymore. It conotes greed and over-stimulation.
