This series focuses on Islam in Indonesia and how it has influenced politics and everyday life. Life and religion are intricately linked in Indonesia. Of the 230 million people, 90% are predominantly Muslim.
Roni, as he is affectionately known, is now based in Brisbane, Australia. He also holds some incriminating photos of me in his hard drive, when we had a few drinks after the SIPF workshop.
