The Rice Project is a photography exhibition featuring the works of 10 photographers who turned the spotlight back on the Asian Tsunami survivors in Sri Lanka. Five years after the tragedy, houses and lives are still being rebuilt. The project started off as a photo competition to search for young photojournalists to go on an expedition in Sri Lanka. The winners were awarded with a 10-day trip, where they gave rice to the tsunami victims on the east coast and travelled around the island to experience the country’s beauty.

The exhibition would be held from Feb 13 to Feb 22 at VivoCity, HarborFront, Singapore. Images are for sale and proceeds will be used to raise funds for further restoration in the affected areas. Donations are also welcome. More details here and images here.
